DEVELOPMENT FEE:
A non-refundable tour development fee of $500.00 is required prior to the creation of any custom tour itinerary.
RESERVATIONS:
Reservations may be made by telephone at 866.244.4100 or 207.782.7871; by fax at 207.784.3937; by standard mail at P.O. Box 222, Auburn, ME 04212-0222; or by e-mail at info@landfallcustomtours.com.
DEPOSITS:
Beyond 75 days of departure, a deposit of $300.00 per person must be received within 7 days of booking to confirm a reservation. Within 75 days of departure, a deposit equal to the full per person tour price must be received within 7 days of booking to confirm a reservation. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express may be used to make a deposit.
CONFIRMATION:
Once your deposit has been received a confirmation packet will be sent containing an emergency contact form, a tentative itinerary, and other useful information.
BALANCE PAYMENTS:
The balance of the established tour price is payable 75 days prior to departure. If you used a credit card to make your deposit, we will charge the balance of the tour price to your credit card 75 days prior to departure unless instructed to do otherwise. Landfall Custom Tours reserves the right to cancel your reservation if the tour price balance is not paid when due.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Landfall Custom Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour for any reason and shall have no liability beyond the refund of any tour member payments made to Landfall Custom Tours.
All traveler cancellations must be made in writing. In the event you must cancel your reservation, the following fee schedule applies:
Days Prior to Departure: 76+ days
Per Person Cancellation Fee: The cost of any non-refundable deposits made or tickets purchased on your behalf
Days Prior to Departure: 46 - 75 days
Per Person Cancellation Fee: 50% of the tour price
Days Prior to Departure: 31 - 45 days
Per Person Cancellation Fee: 75% of the tour price
Days Prior to Departure: 0 - 30 days
Per Person Cancellation Fee: 100% of the tour price
PRIVACY:
All personal information provided to us is considered strictly confidential. All reasonable efforts will be made to insure that any such information will only be disseminated to those vendors or service providers to whom such information is required to secure accommodations or tickets for a specific tour or to any person or entity with legal authority to demand it.
Unless otherwise requested in writing, any of your written comments, tour photographs, video records or the like in which you may appear may be incorporated into our publicity, promotional or advertising materials without remuneration.
RESPONSIBILITES:
The responsibility of Landfall Custom Tours, its affiliated entities, and their employees, shareholders, officers and directors (collectively "Landfall Custom Tours"), is limited. Landfall Custom Tours acts only as an agent in arranging for the goods and services provided to our tour participants. Landfall Custom Tours does not assume and expressly disclaims any liability for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity of any kind resulting from any act or omission beyond its control, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party who is to or does provide any goods or services for the tour. Furthermore, Landfall Custom Tours is not responsible for any losses or expenses resulting from delays, changes in schedules, default of any third parties, strikes, weather, war, acts of God, acts of terrorism, quarantine, sickness, force majeure, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control. Landfall Custom Tours reserves the right to alter any tour itinerary without prior notice when conditions warrant or when it is deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the tour participants. Landfall Custom Tours reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a tour member, or to require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined to be in the best interests of the health, safety, and general welfare of the tour group or individual participant. In such case, a refund equal to the actual cost of any unused services is the limit of Landfall Custom Tours' responsibility. Any and all disputes or claims arising from this contract shall be litigated, if necessary, before a Court located in the State of Maine, U.S.A., to the exclusion of the Courts of any other state, province or country. The payment of a deposit for this tour by the person or persons making such deposits shall be deemed to be an acceptance by each of them of all of the terms and conditions of this contract.
